This is the second official release of the Backyard Sports Online fork of ScummVM, which allows you to play Backyard Football and Backyard Baseball 2001 online with other players. Difference Log

Here are the following differences in this build compared to the previous Backyard Sports Online release, v2.5.0-BYOnline1.0.0:

• A fix to SCUMM6's random number generation, which has been committed to mainline scummvm's master branch but not yet released as of this writing, has been incorporated into this fork. The fix corrects an issue that made hits in Backyard Baseball much weaker, especially those towards the left side of the field. Now hitting feels much more like it does in the original game.
• Fixed an exploit in Backyard Baseball 2001 by which players could use swing spot online even in areas that ostensibly don't allow it.
• Allows the Super Colossal Dome stadium to be used in online play
• Allows custom teams for Backyard Baseball 2001, which may include "generic" players, to be set up on our website and used in online play by playing a game at Prince Rupert against another player when both players have valid teams saved on the website.

Difference Log

Here are the following differences in this build compared to the original ScummVM v2.5.0 build:

• You can now access the game's respective online menus and actually play games with other people! This is accomplished by integrating the ENet library into ScummVM itself to send and receive packets over a peer-to-peer connection.
• Added an "Online" tab in the general options box which allows you to connect to different servers instead of the default servers. There are two reset buttons. One acts like a regular reset button, and the other which sets the severs to localhost, normally intended for development.
• Force enable the online menu options when playing with the Macintosh data files.
• Various online specific workarounds and hacks to make online play a better experience.
