Missing preview for uploaded media in edit view

If I create a cms media in the Content Management > Administration > Media module, there is a thumbnail of the uploaded media in the preview column in the list view.

If I click on the Edit button to edit the media record again, no media preview or thumbnail is shown. It looks like that there is no media uploaded yet or the uploaded media is lost. It could be very confusing for backend editors.

I would expect a preview thumbnail of the already uploaded media, ideally with the file name, above the upload button.
