When you say "gptpatch", I assume you mean our Pi3 partition table solution.
What exactly "didn't work" for you? Do you see any errors?

Did you see error when flashing your SD?

I didn't get error, it successfully flashed, but the gptpatch.img doesn't work to boot

I still tried to re-install, but it didn't work for pi3 B

Just leave it, I'm gonna use 'usb boot' (not just usb (boot partition is from sdcard)) i'll use gpt on "uefi" usb boot.
