[Feature] Add NATS as a new message gateway #1208
Comments
Agree, it would be useful to add it |
I'll pick this up after Kafka Delay Queues and Redis |
@jeffward01 volunteered to look at this one |
hey there @iancooper and thx for last time and all the nice chats :) any idea when NATS will be available and if my cloud vendor starting to deliver NATS as a hosted service so would be nice to not have to self maintain the message servers |
Hi @dagtveit. It's on my list, after I get our support for large message payloads wrapped. Hopefully over the Xmas period? |
nice to hear i havent used brighter as of yet though, but are looking into doing so, and want to be future proof, and its not a rush like over xmas, but if it will arrive sometime over the next quarters or something, our vendor havent released their pricing yet, so i am a bit unsure if it will use it(managed NAT) vs using my own managed(rabbit) on my k8s cluster.

NATS was built to meet the distributed computing needs of today and tomorrow. NATS is simple and secure messaging made for developers and operators who want to spend more time developing modern applications and services than worrying about a distributed communication system.
