This repository contains the necessary patches needed to run DDLC mods on versions of Ren'Py higher than DDLC's own version and/or different operating system changes.

This is a mirror of renpy_patches.rpy and LinuxLauncher.sh from the DDLCModTemplate2.0 repository.

What does this patch?

• wmic (Windows Management Instrumentation Command-Line) usage for players running Windows 10/11 > 21H1 for Better Blue Screens of Death/Process List.
• Monika Space Room Effects (the clouds outside).
• Sprite transition/transform errors.
• Animation resets.
• Ren'Py 7 Linux fix for future import errors via LinuxLauncher.sh.
• Effects screenshot_srf patch from 7.4.0.

• GanstaKingofSA/DDLCModTemplate [DDLC Mod Template Remastered] (Versions 2.1.0 - 2.2.2)
• GanstaKingofSA/DDLCModTemplate2.0 (Versions 2.2.2 - 2.4.9/2.3.1-u8)
• Any other mod template not listed that isn't from GanstaKingofSA/DDLCModTemplate2.0

How do I add this to my mod/a mod I am playing?

Copy the files from the ZIP file provided to your mods' base folder (where DDLC.exe/DDLC.sh is in).

For MacOS, copy the files from the ZIP file provided, right-click DDLC.app, click Show Package Contents then go to Contents/Resources/autorun and paste it there.

How to run LinuxLauncher.sh on Linux?

1. Open Terminal inside the folder your DDLC copy resides in.
2. Type in ./LinuxLauncher.sh in the console and press enter.
