Our Idea

With global warming increasing at a faster and faster rate every year, our team sought to create a project that gave light to the issue in a creative way that not only informed individuals about our every worsening situation but provided resources to help counter it.

Technologies Used

Languages

CSS3 HTML5 JavaScript NodeJS Python

Frameworks

NumPy Pandas scikit-learn

Tools

Figma Adobe Illustrator Trello

Our Process

1.

Our first action was to search for global sea level data to aid in our global simulation. After finding global sea level data, we created a linear regression model in Python

2.

Next we designed a prototype of our project in Figma in order to understand the user interface and the interaction between the user and the system as well as get a feel for the project.

3.

After the prototype was created, we tweeked the UI/UX to improve the user experiance and the visuals of the project. After that we started to program the front end in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
