Install

Linux

Get dependencies

sudo apt-get install \
      build-essential pkg-config libc6-dev m4 g++-multilib \
      autoconf libtool ncurses-dev unzip git python \
      zlib1g-dev wget bsdmainutils automake curl

Install

# First, install prerequisites listed above.
# Download the github repository
git clone https://github.com/BuckCoin/buck.git
# Depending on your setup you may need to modify permissions (OPTIONAL)
chmod -R +x buck/  
# Change directories to the newly created buck directory
cd buck
# Build the Buck application
./zcutil/build.sh -j$(nproc)
# Fetch keys necessary for Buck 
./zcutil/fetch-params.sh
# Change to one folder lower (your user home folder)
cd ..
# Create a folder named .buck
mkdir .buck
# Change to the .buck directory
cd .buck
# Create a new file named buck.conf
nano buck.conf
# Insert the following into the new buck.conf file

Windows build is maintained in buck-gui-wallet-win project.
