This project is about learning to learning to visualize data with D3.js

The assignment

The NMVW (Nationaal Museum Van Wereldculturen) has recently updated their database. Because of this they started wondering what cool stuff could be done with their dataset. To get inspiration they asked the HvA (Hogeschool van Amsterdam; University of applied sciences) to experiment with their dataset. The students have to individually deliver a concept and working prototype.

The client

The (Nationaal Museum Van Wereldculturen) is a collective of big world culture museums in the Netherlands. The museums in this collective are:

• Het Tropenmuseum
• Afrika Museum
• Museum Volkenkunde
• Wereldmuseum

As a CMD-student, my expertise lies with making digital and interactive prototypes, websites, or apps. Because of this i will use my expertise to meet the deliverables set by my client.
