Good News Everyone! PDT has been accepted for inclusion into the official addons repository for Blender-2.82.

The present release candidate is mainly a cleanup release consisting of all the work that went into ensuring that PDT is up to the minimum code standard required for official Blender add-ons.

Notable user-facing changes:

  • Close all PDT UI Panels by default per Blender Add-on policy
  • Strictly limit PDT Command math operations to only have access to functions in the python math library
  • Change the Pivot Point max size to 10 to cater to users with High DPI displays
  • Fix an unsightly error message when trying to Extrude Geometry in OBJECT mode
  • Add option to see PDT debug output in the console (when Blender is started from a terminal)
