As seen for Wurmcoil Engine (https://api.scryfall.com/cards/cm2/231) or Elspeth, Sun's Champion (https://api.scryfall.com/cards/ths/9/), Tokens and Emblems are correctly listed in the API and can be parsed out from there as well to be included in an automatically run travis job which self-updates just like spoilers do.

Also interesting for https://github.com/Cockatrice/Magic-Token project.

Note:
While their API returns all cards on https://api.scryfall.com/cards/, it doesn't return all cards for a given set with https://api.scryfall.com/cards/rix/ currently.
However, one could use the search endpoint for that:
https://api.scryfall.com/cards/search?order=set&q=e:grn&unique=prints&pretty=true

Also, https://api.scryfall.com/sets/rix returns information about each set like card count and a link to the set icon etc.
