KIF v1.0.0 has been tagged. Note: github.com/square/KIF now redirects to github.com/kif-framework/KIF (moved repo), accounting for the new URL.

I think you're looking for the name KIF-next here. Unless it should be both.

The KIF-next pod was used for a long-lived fork of KIF when it was unclear where the project was headed. The projects have since been aligned so that KIF 1.x will be used for the old master and KIF 2.x will be used for the branch/fork that used to be KIF-next. I'll be submitting a pull request for KIF 2.0.0 later today. After that the KIF-next pod won't see any future development.
