Structure and navigation
The overall structure of the file is relatively simple, with the aspect of the design being as minimal as it can be kept at all stages in its development. Following pages are designed :
1) Home/ Landing Page
- The main page design has four primary components-navigation menu (fixed and displayed throughout all pages) - Search bar along with sign-in/register(fixed and displayed throughout al pages)), - Carousel of popular novels along with the categories that users could choose (laid out as a different column to the left), The design currently displays three cards with the option to load more at the bottom where the page number is displayed. - The footer which includes the site logo along with social media links (fixed and displayed throughout all pages)2) Lease page
- Two cards are displayed one for renting out books and the other for creating books in order to rent3) Rent page
- A single card for checking availability and for renting is displayed.4) How it works page
- A two-card layout with individual instruction set for renter and lease5) Books
- 3 cards displayed in each row with the option to display more using the page number button down below.6)About us page
- Two card layout describing the mission behind the said project and developers who contributed for the same.7) Contact us
- Two card layout with different dimension, as the social media icons requires less space , a form for filling out user comments is also displayed.8) Sign in and register page
- Single card layout for signing into the website as well as for registration.Color palette
