Virtual Environments

Cosmos can run in any virtualized environment including but not limited to VMWare, Virtual PC, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Bochs, QEMU, and more.

The default debug configuration however is set for VMWare or Bochs because it provides the best possibilities for integrated debugging and VMWare Player or Bochs is available free of charge.

Note: VMWare Player is not included and must be installed separately It can be downloaded here. https://my.vmware.com/en/web/vmware/free#desktop_end_user_computing/vmware_workstation_player/14_0

Physical Hardware

Cosmos can run on physical hardware and can be deployed using optical media, PXE network boot, or a flash drive.
