I've downloaded and installed ZXPInstaller, but dragging a zxp file onto the interface, or clicking and selecting a zxp file causes 'Installing your extension' to display indefinitely, never changes. Windows 10 PS CC 2015

I've had that happen to me a few times. Not sure what causes it yet. In most cases for me, restarting my computer would resolve the issue.

can we set ps path for zpxinstaller?

@RYG81 ZXPInstaller does not offer that as an option at this time. If you'd like to discuss it further, please create a new issue.

It seems that this is caused by some error that it's not caught. In my case this was because ZXP Installer uses ExManCmd.exe program, and this program needs Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x86 version.

After installing ZXP installer started to work normally again.

Thanks @jakkor, I had a feeling something like that might be the case. Odd that it wasn't captured. I'll see if I can reproduce/fix.

Following advise of WMDesign above to reboot, ZXP installer is still "Installing extension", with no sign of completion after 10 minutes. Nothing happening in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extension Manager CS6. Trying to install Flash2Svg.v3.42.0.zxp in Flash Professional CS 6 on Windows 7 64-bit.
