Connecting
Once your Wsus Server(s) are registred into WPP, select the Server you want to connect to and click on the "Connect/Reload" button.
- All Computers : This node is map to the "All Computers" group on the Wsus Server. Below it, you will find all computer groups created on the Server. Once you have selected a computer group, its content is displayed on the right pane. Select one or more computers to display a report on installed updates for these computers on the bottom-right pane.
- MetaGroup : This is a feature of WPP. MetaGroup allow you to link more than one computer groups into a virtual group. Therefore, you can approve an update into multiple computer group at once.
- Updates : This node is map to the "Updates" node on the Wsus Server. Below it, you will find all updates organized by publisher. Updates are organised by Publishers (Adobe System, Oracle, Symantec…) then by Products (Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, Java, Symantec Endpoint Protection…). Selec a product to display a view of all published updates for this product.
