Notifications digest

Expected behaviour:

Users should be able to set options for when they receive comments, feedback on plans via a notifications digest facility. Yet to be decided what time periods would be available - every 4 hours, daily, weekly, monthly.

Actual behaviour:

Currently, notifications of comments and feedback are switched off by default (see issue https://github.com/DMPRoadmap/roadmap/projects/5#card-18428836 ).

Steps to reproduce:

Go to Edit Profile, select Notification Preferences. Notifications digest options should be available on this page.

Hi @dsisu Is this as a fix to getting too many comment notifications from plan review or was it a request from user(s).

If the former, I think the longer-term fix for us should be differentiating comments made by plan reviewers than those may be plan co-owners or editors. Users will probably want to see comment notifications from collaborators but only the one final comment from plan review.

I think a 'digest' style notification would be an improvement in the long run.

We'll support this type of functionality after adding Sidekiq (a gem for scheduling and running code in the background), and we could change all the various notifications to send the user ALL updates in one email as opposed to one email per occurence.

Ok, if this is something we can add in easily I'm happy to let users define setting on how often they want to hear
