So far I have the buttons, done in FontAwesome & IcoMoon (we only need three icons):

It has been added to the project.

Design and add the buttons (by @DaAwesomeP, f04cb8d)
Remove "Open" button from diff
Add file manipulation/OS file browser (make the buttons do something)
Discard changes/close without saving warning
