Netcafe Web App

Welcome to the E-Commerce Web Application! This project is built using a custom PHP framework that follows the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture and OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles. This application provides a robust platform for managing products, orders, and users.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/ecommerce-webapp.git
    cd ecommerce-webapp
  2. Install dependencies:

    composer install
  3. Set up the environment variables:

    Rename the .env.example file to .env and configure your environment variables (database credentials, etc.).

  4. Run the database migrations:

    Ensure your MySQL server is running and create a database for the project. Then, run the migrations to set up the database schema.

    php vendor/bin/phinx migrate
  5. Start the development server:

    php -S localhost:8000 -t public

    Your application should now be accessible at http://localhost:8000.

Usage

  • User Registration and Login: Users can register for an account and log in to access the product catalog and manage their shopping cart and orders.

  • Product Management: Admin users can add, edit, and delete products from the admin panel.

  • Order Processing: Users can add products to their cart, proceed to checkout, and place orders. Admin users can view and manage all orders.
