Currently the PU-scope on the mosin works really bad since you are zooming in with your eyes and not the scope it self. Together with how current model actually is designed this makes the pu-scope in to nothing but a keyhole reverting the function you would want with a marksmans scope. To solve this I suggest that you do like Arma have done with all other marksmans weapons. That you put pov past the scope and add a overlay on the screen simulating that you are looking through a PU-scope. I have not looked in to the code but this should be a easy change? This would make the mosin-scope a really nice attachement finally even though its like 1.5x zoom or whatever :).

And the design for overlay could almost be done in mspaint. At least a few min in Photoshop should be enough

I think this is a good idea. More power to the farm weapons is a good thing for the game imo.

IRL PU is 3.5x22 scope. Is it really 1.5x here?

going to leave this open we have a new overlay incoming for it

I like it. There would be enough SVD scopes that "got lost" that they would be common for farmers to have them.
