Welcome to the GBE wiki!

Purpose

Build on the 2014 success of the Asheville Budget Site to offer a low- or zero-cost software-as-a-service version available not only to larger cities, but also to smaller municipalities and counties that have neither the IT staff nor the local developer community to pull it off by themselves. A second goal is to make the platform more usable by partners like local media or civic organizations.

This and DemocracyApps are not-for profit endeavors.
