PDF Merger

Description

The PDF Merger is a Java application that simplifies the process of merging multiple PDF files into a single document. This tool is designed to be simple, efficient, and user-friendly, catering to both professional and personal needs.

Prerequisites

Before you can run PDF Merger, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Java JDK 11 or higher
  • Apache Maven 3.6.3 or higher

Installation (for users)

Download the precompiled JAR from the releases section. Or download the code and build it yourself. If you are building it yourself follow the bottom instructions.

Installation (for developers)

Clone the Repository

To get started, clone the repository to your local machine using the following command:

git clone https://github.com/Developer78-sgyuijhgygwtdwgyhutre45r5t/JavaPDFMerger.git
cd JavaPDFMerger

Build the Project

Build the project with Maven:

mvn clean install

Usage

To merge PDFs, navigate to the directory containing the jar release file and upload some PDFs and press the merge button.

Use cases

  • Merge all PDF files in the documents folder and output a single PDF named merged_output.pdf
  • Piece back together a corrupted or mistakenly exported file.
