Before you can run PDF Merger, ensure you have the following installed:
- Java JDK 11 or higher
- Apache Maven 3.6.3 or higher
Download the precompiled JAR from the releases section. Or download the code and build it yourself. If you are building it yourself follow the bottom instructions.
To get started, clone the repository to your local machine using the following command:

cd JavaPDFMerger
Build the project with Maven:
mvn clean install
To merge PDFs, navigate to the directory containing the jar release file and upload some PDFs and press the merge button.
- Merge all PDF files in the
documents
folder and output a single PDF namedmerged_output.pdf
- Piece back together a corrupted or mistakenly exported file.
