MFlix-MovieManager

MFlix is a web based movie manager created to manage movies in the local drive for windows platforms. This Project is built using React js, Tailwind CSS, Node js and Python. Users of this application will be able to,

• Get a comprehensive view of the movies in their local drives
• Manage movie files without hassle going through one file by one in the file explorer
• Give ratings and reviews to movies on IMDb and Letterboxd platforms
• Inbuilt video player to watch those movies from the application

• show movies in the selected folder using IMDB Api
• search movie by name, sort and filter options (genre, actor, director etc.)
• remove movie file from the storage

Movie Manager

• rename movie files according to specified naming convention
• filter watched from unwatched (no idea how to do this xD)
• schedule cleanups based on your reviews and ratings (use LLM to identify intent behind the review and rank it whether positive/negative)

Recommendation

• recommend similar movies based on the genre, actor and director

Notification (Optional)

• notify about new movies that has been released

Movie finder by plot

• use openAI to query sql using NLP to find the movies with matching plot
