This behavior seems a bit messy. A space and colon in the middle of a line should be accepted by SA1009, right?

I am unable to reproduce this using the latest beta. I am assuming that you are using 1.1.118 right now. If you are using modern c# constructs you unfortunately have to use the beta releases to avoid unwanted diagnostics, since 1.1.118 is too old to handle them.
