Kexts (kernel extensions) is a Windows driver. In this list, all the kexts are important and they all lie in /CLOVER/kexts/Other
, but the kext for the touchpad and keyboard (VoodooPS2Trackpad), I had to first install using KextUtility, then remove from /S/L/E and put in /CLOVER/kexts/Other
, otherwise the touchpad was not recognized and gestures did not work.
Naturally for each configuration of the computer you need a set of kexts and not only the texts affect the performance of the system, but also a variety of patches in the config, DSDT, etc.

- For the text to work correctly, you need to open "About This Mac" and "System Report" and in the USB or Camera sections, look at the product ID and webcam manufacturer ID. Then convert these values from hex to dec (from hexadecimal to decimal) and paste the resulting values into the appropriate fields in
Info.plist
, which is inside theUVC2FaceTimeHD
kekst - This allows you to identify the webcam as Apple FaceTimeHD. Honestly, without this kekst, the webcam worked correctly (in Skype or in ScreenFlow). I did not notice any visible changes after applying this kekst. I do not use FaceTime. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-dell-xps-13-9350-macos-10-12-1.204730/post-1386360
