Is there a pre-print or published paper?

If not, I suggest https://joss.theoj.org/ for a quick software paper.

Good suggestion, @mr-c. It hasn't been on our priority list recently, but I've indeed been wondering how best to wrap this up.

We are now looking to create a paper for this project via the Journal of Open Source Software. @dleehr Since you were responsible for the design and majority of the initial changes would you be interested in taking the lead on the initial draft?

Maybe. I'll have to think about it and see if I remember anything useful. I'm also not familiar with the state of other implementations that support kubernetes. But I appreciate the thought. Thanks @johnbradley!

Great idea. We could illustrate with our use case: satellite imagery processing on k8s with auto-scaling resources.
