How to add bodies scanned prior to EDDI usage

Hi,

I'm looking at the original script Discovery scan.
When looking at the system.scannedbodies variable for a fully discovered system, the value is not the number of bodies.
The system was fully discovered before i start to use EDDI.
I tried to re-scean the bodies by targetting them in the FSS but it didn't changed the value.

Did i miss something to have a correct value ?

As long as a Scan event is written to the player journal then that should suffice.
That said, I can add a little bit of additional code that to fill in any missing scan when you perform a discovery scan within a fully scanned system.

I tried different ways but scanning an already scanned body does not trigger another scan event.
Is it possible to replay events from old journals ?
or import previous journals to EDDI ?

I wanted to update the value from the script but Discovery scan event is missing the Progress information.
Is it even possible to update the scanned timestamp of a Body from script ?

It is not possible to update the scanned timestamp from a script and EDDI does not officially support importing old journal files. EDDI was not designed as a journal archive. That said, it should not be very difficult to fool EDDI into parsing an old journal file:

1. Identify the specific journal file that you want EDDI to parse (from [Your Saved Games folder]\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous)
2. Close Elite Dangerous if it is running
3. Temporarily remove all newer journal files from the folder (so that the file you want EDDI to parse is the newest one in the folder)
4. Run EDDI and allow EDDI to run until the CPU has leveled off and it has finished parsing the most recent journal file in the folder
5. Use the SystemDetails() function to verify that EDDI has correctly captured the scan information from your visit
6. Close EDDI
7. Return all newer journal files to the folder.

I'm doing it right now and it will take some time to replay the whole.
