This package contains a Visual Studio editor extension that checks the spelling of comments, strings, and plain text as you type, interactively with a tool window, or for an entire solution, project, or selected items with a tool window. Extra options are available to control how elements and attributes in XML and MAML files are spell checked and various other options.

Note that there are now separate releases: One for Visual Studio 2013/2015 and one for Visual Studio 2017 and later.
