This is a collection of tools and utilities to emulate an Atari system. The ultimate goal here is to implement a full-on atari emulator to run on a fuzebox ( http://ladyada.net/make/fuzebox/index.html ). Each folder below here is a seperate project. There's a README in each project below Currently we have: *6502-cpu-emulator - emulator for the 6502 cpu. It is mostly done *6502-aslink - simple 6502 assembler/llinker in ruby. It is done. Currently lacking a lot of compiler macros/directives cause I can't seem to find a common subset of these things that I need. It seems to compile most programs on 6502asm.com Short-term future: * Visualization of 6502-cpu core in action; written in sdl. And yes, it is just an excuse to mess with sdl, although it'll be real pretty to look at. * start on the emulation of the stella/RIOT/tia chips History: 04/03/09 First commit to newly refactored directory 04/13/09 Checked in base skel for 6502 assembler. Currently, it cant assemble anything. 05/06/09 Finished 6502 assembler/linker. All basic instr/gotos are compileable. Implemented first necessary macro - DCB. Added a few examples of progs I can compile to the /progs dir. 06/04/09 Refactored 6502 cpu emulator to use paging model Clean up 6502-cpu code Get 6502-asslink to accept long labels Add example usage code to 6502-assembler.rb
