If you do like me:

• At least 30 quick 2 hours experiments / year
• 20 prototypes of 1-2 Days / year
• 1-10 game jams / hackathon / year
• 2-6 client projects / year

Then you know how painful it is start over and over the same process:

• Create the project
• Import some black / white texture
• Have some debugging material
• Set Up the project for git
• Change the android id bundle
• Create the folders for the Team
• Create a convention document
• ...

Empty project allow to start directly prototyping in 5 minutes :)
With debugging tools and quick/dirty script just to go fast.
