Install on QNAP NAS

Please read General installation notes before reading this article.

Please check kernel version of your NAS using uname -a command. Kernel version should be not less then 3.2.40!

Entware-3x can be installed using QPKG file. Please remove Optware, Entware-ng, Entware.arm if it is currently installed. Entware-3x cannot be used simultaneously with Optware or previous Entware versions.

Download this package for standard installation or this package for alternative installation.

This package autodetects NAS platform and deploys appropriate Entware binaries. Following platforms are supported:

  • armv5 (x19),
  • armv7 (x31, x41 - models x31/x31+),
  • x86-64.

It is recommended to install Entware ssh server for alternative installation.
