Reproducable by executing our runtimes export.sh script. It doesn't seem to hang indefinitely, but exits after a while.

Any better in 3.7.23-beta or later?

Works as intended now with 3.7.x! This is on High Sierra (current stable macOS) and Mojave (current beta macOS). Can't test on Sierra (previous stable).
