Running Calculations on USLCI in openLCA
Using 'NONE' or 'CAUSAL' as the default allocation method, as designated by data providers in many USLCI multi-output processes, can produce unexpected LCI & LCIA results in oLCA. The 'PHYSICAL' and 'ECONOMIC' default methods produce expected results. As such, you must select AS DEFINED IN PROCESS; when running calculations in openLCA in order to produce the correct results.

As a repository on the Federal LCA Commons (FLCAC), the US Life Cycle Inventory (USLCI) Database is adapting the Federal Elementary Flow List (FEDEFL).
