## 6. FedML OTA(Over-the-Air) upgrade mechanism

When you run the CLI ```fedml login $YourUserId``` to login the MLOps platform. The FedML core framework compares its local version with the remote fedml version from the repository of pypi.org.
If the local version is less than the remote version, FedML core framework starts an OTA process to upgrade its local fedml pip to the remote version. And also, there is another entry point to upgrade the fedml version, when you start a new run on the MLOps platform, the FedML server agent runs the same process to upgrade its local version.
When the FedML server agent completes its upgrade process, it forwards this OTA request to all FedML client agents in the same run group. And then, when these FedML client agents receive the OTA command, it runs the same OTA process to upgrade its local version.

Notice: When the value of no_upgrade is set to true, the FedML server agent and client agent will not run the OTA process.
