Font-awesome is already have a "fa-vk" icon for vk.com, but nobody knows about this icon in Russian community, because vk.com (or vkontakte.ru) uses another icon for Russia. In Russian language vkontakte spells as "B KOHTAKTE" (means "in contact"), so Russian icon is letter "B" in square with rounded corners.

Example from vk.com (but I am not sure that it opens correctly in your locale):
