I am facing with a abnormal behaviour of the app. I am not sure under what conditions it occurs but I can explain it as such:

I have several feeds, some are in Persian language. I read some and sweep some other to mark them as read article. But occasionally, on next visit, I see those (not sure all or some) read articles in the list of unread articles.

You may find my feeds here: https://beepaste.io/paste/view/3CtGif

I refresh the list, read some articles, mark some as read by swiping, but after some time (no idea after how long, or after what particular activity) some of those read articles, come back to the unread items.

Hope it be helpful

Yep, I have the same issue. Approximately once a day, it marks every article as unread.

I think this happens when there is some update (either by modifying the post or adding some comment under it)

I have the same problem with feed: https://tvn24bis.pl/najnowsze.xml. Very irritating when I see read articles.

Same issue here.
It happened today with this feed:

Same here, I run into the issue with multiple feeds somewhat consistently.

Feeds generated by ao3rss, as well as https://crimsonflagcomic.com/feed.php .

If there's something I can do in ao3rss to fix it, that would be nice to know, and even just pinning down exactly what's causing it would be nice so a fix in Flym can be contemplated.

I see this happen with feeds that don't update often. If a feed hasn't updated in a few weeks, the items will come back. Is that what others are seeing?

Can you check if those posts have updated (modified) recently?

No, they haven't been updated in two years or so (I should probably just remove them).

Setting "Time that Read entries will be kept" to "Forever" seems to have helped for me so far, so maybe that's a workaround that will help other people?
