GirlScript Summer of Code is the 3-month long Open Source program during summers conducted by GirlScript Foundation, started in 2018, to help beginners get started with Open Source Development while encouraging diversity. Throughout the program, participants contribute to different projects under the guidance of experienced mentors. Top participants get exciting goodies and opportunities.
To become a GSSoC24, you first have to submit the application form and show EOI, you need to:
- Be a student in any of the universities in India.
- Apply for the campus ambassador Role Campus Ambassador Application Form.
- Be enrolled in a formal education institution.
- Have more than one year left as a student before graduating.
- Be a GitHub user for at least six months.
Applications to the program open every April and they remain open for two weeks. If selected to become a Campus Ambassador, you'll start the onboarding to GSSoC24 ✨.
