Implementation of unit testing for seismic.inventory and coverage metrics. Turns on code coverage reporting on Github. Does not test all cases that need testing for inventory yet, but I'm time boxing this ticket and will extend test cases in the future. Hand in hand with the testing code are minor code organization and interface improvements that arise out of exposing the code to testing.
