EPANET on the fly transformations

Edgar Fuste edited this page Nov 2, 2021 · 1 revision

In order to fit the hydraulic capabilities of inventory elements with EPANET, Giswater makes several on-the-fly transformations to ensure the right geometry that fits the EPANET requirements. As a result, below you can see SEVEN on-the-fly transformations of Giswater applied to Water Supply networks:

NODE to SHUTOFF-VALVE

NODE to CHECK-VALVE

NODE to FLOW-REGULATOR VALVE (PRV, PSV, PBV, FCV, PGV, TCV)

NODE to SINGLE FLOW-PUMP

NODE to SINGLE MULTIFLOW-PUMP

NODE to PRESSURE PUMP

SINGLE ARC to BROKEN ARCS
