Water supply projects (WS)

In function of the network mode chosen by the user it is possible to generate a INP file with four types of geometry file:

MANDATORY NODARC

Only are transformed on the fly to arcs that mandatory nodarcs (pumps and valves)

ALL NODARCS

In addition of mandatory nodarcs also are transformed on the fly to arcs all those shorpipes (shutof valves among others)

PJOINT DATA

In addition of all nodarcs also are transformed on the fly those arcs that have intersections with links triming each intersection and generating as many arcs as many intersections with liks the network has

CONNEC DATA

In addition of triming arcs with links also are exported all links with all connecs related to those links

Urban drainage projects (UD)

It is possible to export two types of data.

1D SWMM

Giswater create inp file with all information that SWMM needs to run model

1D/2D SWMM-IBER COUPLED MODEL

Giswater creates two files to load on IBER:

  • INP file wich only will be used the hydraulic data, not rainfall or hydrologic data will be used because this informations need to be created on IBER
  • Gully file wich has the information that IBER need to manage with gullys
