At his moment GlotPress warns you if the casing differs from the original. Normally that is OK, but it some cases that is not wanted behavior, as this record will be saved with a warning. Only a PTE or GTE can save it, so that translation becomes active. However in due time this record will be set to "fuzzy" as it does not follow the original.
To prevent this from happening, I would like to propose the following.
Create a table per locale which can be populated by the GTE.
Check this table before throwing an error.
Or
Give the GTE/PTE the possibility to set a boolean to mark this record as not to be checked
Example
days are written with lowercase
Monday - maandag should not give a warning
Thuesday - dinsdag should not give a warning
Date formats that differ from standard so not starting with "J" but with "m" in lowercase
