Basic Functionality

The GoXLR 'Out of the Box' experience only provides a limited subset of the device's functionality. To achieve full functionality please install the GoXLR Utility which will allow your GoXLR to behave as it does on Windows.

Below is a list of things which will and wont work if the GoXLR Utility is not in-use.

Working:

• All of the output and input channels are available (System, Chat, Music, ...)
• The Faders work
• The bleep button (!@#$?*) works

Not Working:

• The Mute Buttons
• The Sampler
• The Effects Panel
• The Cough Button

In addition, the device must be initialized on Windows using the official GoXLR App in the event it loses power. This can be achieved either via dual-booting, or using a VM pass through.
