Dragon Quest VII (3DS) Save Editor - English Translation

An English translation of turtle-insect's Dragon Quest VII (3DS) Save Editor.

Everything except for some NPC names has been translated.

Please don't request feature additions here, this is purely a translation project.

Requirements

• Windows OS
• .NET Framework 4.5
• A way to extract and restore saves on your 3DS (for example by using JKSM)

Build Environment

• Windows 10 (64bit)
• Visual Studio 2019

Usage

1. Extract the following DQ7 save data from your 3DS:
   • cardinfo.bin
   • save00x.bin
   • system.bin
2. Load the save00x.bin file using the program
3. Edit the save
4. Save the edited save00x.bin file
5. Restore the edited save files back to your 3DS

Notes and Warnings

• Skills with a [!] prefix appears to be unused leftovers from the original PSX version of the game. Characters cannot learn those skills naturally in the 3DS version, enable those at your own risk.
