This page will help you if you would like to run QUAST to check the quality of your assemblies

QUAST on Ubuntu

QUAST: QUAST stands for QUality ASsessment Tool. It evaluates genome/metagenome assemblies by computing various metrics. The current QUAST toolkit includes the general QUAST tool for genome assemblies, MetaQUAST, the extension for metagenomic datasets, QUAST-LG, the extension for large genomes (e.g., mammalians), and Icarus, the interactive visualizer for these tools.

I am assuming that whenever we are doing QUAST analysis, we will most likely also be doing BUSCO (it looks like the newer release of QUAST might even contain BUSCO...). Therefore when I created an EC2 AMI with BUSCO I also put QUAST on the same one. So all of the "set-up" steps required to download and run QUAST are on the page Assembly QC with BUSCO.

To try and not make it super repetitive, I will leave the set-up on the other page and only talk about what QUAST is here, the tools it has for you, what the results look like, and how to start analyzing your assemblies with them.
