Rodocer

This is a lore page, and a stub, describing the existence of a star called Rodocer that does not exist in Whirligig World.

Rodocer is a bright red giant star visible in the skies of Kerbin and Mesbin. During the earliest era of astronomy on the planet Mesbin, the red dwarf Kaywell B was around the same place in the sky that ancient star charts suggested the red giant star Rodocer ought to be. After navigators repeatedly kept having to update their star charts every few years to account for the annoyingly rapid proper motion of what they thought was Rodocer, an astronomer named Gememma Kerman discovered that the star was in fact a red dwarf orbiting Kaywell, and not the red giant star Rodocer as previously expected. Rodocer was later reidentified as a dimmer (but still first magnitude) star.
