I often miss messages in game because a number of people send me quick messages and they scroll off screen. When I scroll someone else sends me a message and I can't see the message that I've missed. The best solution I can come up with is to make the Ki "lock" so that it will not scroll down when a new message arrives. Avatars would then have to assume the AFK position to indicate to others that they may not be paying attention.

A complete rewrite of the chat system has been on our TODO list for a while now. This is not very easy to fix in the current KI interface/chat system, as you noticed.

Fixes H-uru#180 (if combined with the moul-scripts commit). These two Python/Plasma functions are used in the moul-scripts fix for the scrolling KI Chat issue.
