FlareSolverr is a proxy server for bypassing Cloudflare's anti-bot challenges (IUAM). HDoujin Downloader is able to use FlareSolverr to access websites that have enabled Cloudflare's anti-bot features.

Using the FlareSolverr plugin

FlareSolverr is included by default with newer versions of HDoujin Downloader.

FlareSolverr leverages your existing Google chrome installation to bypass the challenges. Having the latest version of Google Chrome installed is necessary for FlareSolverr to function.

FlareSolverr is enabled by default, but you can ensure that it is enabled with the following steps:

  1. Open the settings menu by going to Tools > General settings from the menu at the top of the program window.
  2. In the Cloudflare solvers section, set the challenge solver to "FlareSolverr".

If you need to update your FlareSolverr plugin, see the section below.

Updating the FlareSolverr plugin

If you don't already have the FlareSolverr plugin, or need to manually update to a newer version of the plugin, follow the instructions below.

  1. Download FlareSolverr from here, or the latest release from FlareSolverr/releases.
  2. Copy the downloaded ZIP archive to the plugins folder inside of your HDoujin Downloader folder. If you don't have a plugins folder, create one.1
