Downloading from Pixiv

You can download SFW content from Pixiv without an account. However, an account is required in order to access NSFW content.

HDoujin Downloader is currently unable to automate the login process (#43), but you can still download NSFW content with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Pixiv normally through your web browser.
  2. In HDoujin Downloader, go to Settings > Downloads > General, and click the "Edit Cookies" button.

  1. In the cookie editor, click the "import from web browser" button at the top.

  1. Select the appropriate browser and profile that you logged in with, and find the PHPSESSID cookie for .pixiv.net. Check the box next to it, and click OK, and click OK to close the cookie editor.

You will now be able to download NSFW content from Pixiv using your account. If you get a login-related error in the future, the session cookie is likely expired. Just repeat this process again to resume downloading normally.
