The need for realpath come up often enough that it might be nice to have it packaged separately from coreutils. See for example https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/pull/34631/files#r21204379

I think if it's part of coreutils we should just add an alias instead.

Given there's no conflict with OS X on the realpath utility, we could always symlink that into the bin as realpath rather than grealpath in addition to an alias.

Hi guys, sorry to be late on this, but I cannot get realpath available in CLI from my PATH (which is /Users/MoOx/.nvm/versions/io.js/v2.0.1/bin:/Users/MoOx/Sync/Development/bin:/Users/MoOx/setup/setupsh/recipes:/Users/MoOx/setup/setupsh/bin:/Users/MoOx/setup/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:./bin:./node_modules/.bin)

What am I missing ?

brew update && brew reinstall coreutils will probably solve the issue.
