EvoHull Reproducible Metabarcoding course repository

This repository contains the course materials for the @EvoHull "Reproducible Metabarcoding" course June 2015, run at the University of Hull, UK. The course manual Google doc is here. It starts with an introduction to the command line and developing bioinformatics skills. Secondly it introduces users to reproducible and modern metabarcoding approaches using scripts, git, and Docker to standardise analyses. Here it relies on the separate metaBEAT repository and Docker image.

This repository should contain:

  • (almost) all the data we are working on
  • some scripts (additional to metaBEAT)
  • QIIME tutorial files
  • link to documentation
  • maybe some other misc

The repository can be cloned to your local machine by issuing the following command in a terminal:

git clone --recursive https://github.com/HullUni-bioinformatics/metabarcode-course.git
