pretty much the only exhaustive resource on Gamma-compression I’ve found so far that isn’t rife with misinformation and inaccuracies :wow:

this stuff is rather advanced, though, and probably not a must read to make passable encodes of anime tiddies, so maybe group this one, the last one, the color spaces one and perhaps the dithering ones under a seperate “Color” subsection? 🤔 (I might spam some more links as I sift through resources on HDR, 90 % of which incidentally are also crap :notlikemiya:)
